About Limenaria Harbour
The calm side of the island
A sheltered harbour on the south-west coast, below the old mining village of Limenaria. It's the natural base for the southern side of the island: Potos, Pefkari and the rock pools at Giola are all within a short run by boat, and the water here tends to stay calmer when the summer meltemi blows from the north. Dive boats, private charters and small rental boats all work out of the quay.
